Overview
About this service.
Chickenpox is usually mild in young children, but it is a fortnight off nursery or school, and in teenagers and adults it can be considerably worse.
The private two-dose course protects children from twelve months and adults who never caught it, including parents, teachers, healthcare staff and anyone about to live with a newborn or someone immunosuppressed.
We give the first dose at your appointment and book the second four to eight weeks later so the course is completed properly.
